Symbian
Symbian was the most popular Smarphone OS in the world before Android and iOS. I product managed the first test successful automation suite for Symbian devices, which was sold to Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Vodafone and others network operators before being acquired (multiple times).
I was fond of Symbian and its unique devices and came across some screenshots and notes and thought I'd just collect them here.
TL:DR – These screenshots and pages are all about Symbian devices which are obsolete now.

Factory reset a Nokia 7650
This is an old set of screenshots showing how anyone! could factory reset a Nokia 7650 just using the shortcode! *#7370#. It was a simpler time I guess.

Smartphone Problem Solver
For a time I was the resident Smartphone Doctor for a magazine. There are fascinating screenshots in these articles from Nokia S60 devices, from the Nokia S80 equipped Communicator and Sony Ericsson UIQ variant of Symbian too. Traffic info on a phone. Who'd have thought!

Automated Testing for Symbian
These screenshots shows the testing tool we built at Intuwave, and which was acquired by Mercury which enabled automated testing of Symbian mobile deives, reliably, where you could set up multiple devices and have them run through complex long period test automation exercises using third party test automation tools which tested via our Windows app connected directly to the device under test. These tests included calling each other, entering contacts, being interrupted and so on and radically changed test coverage and long period testing. It was a revelation at the time. Early on in the device cycle we didn't even know what the device looked like!

Nokia N70
I dont remember much about this device, which was probably a prototype from Nokia (long gone) but Wikipedia says "The Nokia N70 is a 3G mobile phone from Nokia. It was announced as part of the Nokia's new line of multimedia smartphones, the Nseries, on 27 April 2005. It started shipping in September 2005. It runs on the S60 2nd Edition, Feature Pack 3 on Symbian v8.1 operating system."
