Decluttering your Google Maps screen in Android Auto
The moaning about the latest update to Google Maps for Android Auto is a little bit clickbaity if you ask me. "Oh woe is me, theres more information on the screen so all is lost" kind of thing. But really its just one tap to declutter.
All you need to do is tap the and voila, the history goes away. And you can bring it back by tapping the . Not too difficult. Unsure what the storm in a teacup was about.
Maps looks pretty good in this update to me, and it integrates well with my VW Infotainment system, but as a long time user of Waze it is missing some things I like including actual speed, police vehicles and safety cameras and reporting so I dont think it will be my main Android Auto choice.
